Eating fish is associated with many cultures of the world primarily in coastal areas. It's so common that taking few names would be injustice to others. However, people belonging to the bong community have an irrevocable relationship with fish. They cook fishes so delicately that they can't resist themselves from eating it perpetually. Moreover, fish provides a lot of essential micro-nutrients. Keeping that in mind, I’ve decided to share the recipe of baked salmon in mustard sauce. With exceptional nutritional value due to the rich concentration of omega-3 fatty acids, salmon is a favorite among fish lovers and enjoyed even by those who are not always fond of fish.
Ingredients:
350 gm Salmon Fillet (about 2-3 pieces)
1 tsp mustard paste (1/2 cup black mustard seeds,1 green chili, salt, water)
2 tbsp coconut milk powder
salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp mustard oil
2-3 tbsp water
1 tsp mustard paste (1/2 cup black mustard seeds,1 green chili, salt, water)
2 tbsp coconut milk powder
salt to taste
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp mustard oil
2-3 tbsp water
1. Pre-heat oven at 350F.
2. Wash and clean salmon and set aside.
3. Place ingredients in the blender and blend to a smooth paste. It should be a
thick paste. You can store any excess in the freezer and use as required. Place
each piece of salmon on aluminum foil. Now spread equal amount of the blended
mixture on each piece of salmon. Using the aluminum foil make air tight salmon
pouches and bake them in the pre-heated oven until the fish is cooked – about
10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish. Serve hot with your
choice of sides.
